Man allegedly rapes and kills girlfriend’s 3 year-old son

SUNRISE (CBSMiami) – The case against a Sunrise man accused of killing a child he was babysitting has taken another turn.

Corey Gordon, 28, was arrested Tuesday on homicide charges. But he now says it was the toddler’s mother, Chantal Haye, who delivered the death blows.

“On the Sunday, prior to the death of the child, the mother told him (Gordon) she beat the child with an object,” said Gordon’s attorney Gawayne Grant.

Gordon was babysitting Khyese Coach while the toddler’s mother went to work.

When Gordon went to pick up Haye, he said the child was bruised and lifeless in the backseat.

Haye’s family said Khyese didn’t have a scratch on him when he left his mother’s care and they are outraged at Gordon’s allegations.

“He was fine. Perfectly fine,” said Khyese’s maternal grandmother Glenda Haye tells

Still suspicion is haunting Chantal Haye, because of two DCF investigations were sparked by calls to the abuse hotline that she hit her child.

“They were anonymous calls, but investigators came and looked and found no marks on his body,” said Glenda Haye.

And while Gordon now denies killing Khyese, he isn’t denying that he disciplined the child on the day he died.

“He may have smacked him around, but nothing to cause his death,” said Grant.

 

NC pastor dies after church van rolls over him

HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (AP) — An associate pastor in Hendersonville has died after a church van rolled over him while he was checking engine fluids.

Hendersonville Police Lt. Mike Vesely told local media outlets that 69-year-old Henry Lineberger of Etowah died late Monday morning at New Beginnings World Outreach Center.

Investigators think Lineberger put the vehicle in neutral to check the fluid levels but failed to set the emergency brake. Vesely said the van was parked on a hill in front of the church.

The officer said when the van began rolling, Lineberger tried to stop it by getting in front of it.

 

Greece atheist prime minister says, ‘We are radically coming to change policies in this country’

Greece elects and swares in their first openly atheist prime minister Alexis Tsipras, 40 year old of Athens. Some reports cite him as having a Jewish upbringing. The unmarried prime leader lives with his registered partner Peristera Batziana,  and they have two sons according to wikipedia.  Several reports claims Tsipras has basically arised out of nowhere in manner of the spotlight and has takes office. This is actually becoming popular on many scales of leadership around the world, regarding the breaking of customs as it relates to religion or even things originally set in the constitution. There have been many comparisons surfacing regarding the biblical prophecis about antichrist beast arising from the sea  in Revelations 13.  I think somebody may say how can Tsipras be a minister, when he is a self proclaimed atheist? ATHENS, Jan 28 (Reuters) – Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras promised “radical” change on Wednesday as his new government swiftly moved to roll back key parts of Greece’s international bailout, prompting a third day of losses on financial markets.

A swift series of announcements signaled the newly installed government would not back down from its anti-austerity pledges, setting it on course for a clash with European partners, led by Germany, which has said it will not renegotiate the aid package needed to help Greece pay its debts.

Even before the first meeting of the new cabinet, ministers had hit the airwaves to reassure voters they would honor campaign pledges to roll back the tough economic policies imposed under Greece’s 240-billion-euro bailout program.

The planned sale of a 30 percent stake in Public Power Corporation of Greece (PPC), the country’s biggest utility, was halted while ministers pledged to raise pensions for those on low incomes and reinstate some fired public sector workers.

“We are coming in to radically change the way that policies and administration are conducted in this country,” Tsipras told ministers at their first cabinet meeting.

Financial markets have looked on nervously, with Greek 10-year bond yields up 50 basis points at 10.30 percent, the main Athens stock index down 4 percent and bank stocks down 12.6 percent to extend losses into a third day.

Saying that the mood towards Greece was changing since his leftwing party’s sweeping election victory on Sunday, Tsipras said he would avoid antagonism with European Union and International Monetary Fund creditors.

“Our priority is also a new negotiation with our partners, seeking to reach a fair, viable and mutually beneficial solution so that the country exits the vicious circle of excessive debt and recession,” he said.

ASSET SALES HALTED

He said the government would pursue balanced budgets but would not seek to build up “unrealistic surpluses” to service Greece’s massive public debt of more than 175 percent of gross domestic product. He added that he expected a “productive” meeting on Friday with Jeroen Dijsselbloem, head of the euro zone finance ministers’ group.

Priorities would be helping the weakest sections of society, with policies to attack endemic clientelism and corruption in the economy, reduce waste and cut Greece’s record unemployment.

After announcing a halt to the privatization of the port of Piraeus on Tuesday, for which China’s Cosco Group and four other suitors had been shortlisted, the government said it would block the sale of a stake in the Public Power Corporation of Greece (PPC).

PPC,, which is 51 percent owned by the state, controls almost all of Greece’s retail electricity market and accounts for about two thirds of the nation’s power utility. Shares in the utility were down nearly 13 percent, while shares in Piraeus Port were down nearly 8 percent.

“We will halt immediately any privatization of PPC,” Energy Minister Panagiotis Lafazanis told Greek television a few hours before officially taking over his portfolio.

“There will be a new PPC which will help considerably the restoration of the country’s productive activities,” he said.

The previous government of former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras had passed legislation last year to spinoff part of PPC to liberalize the energy market as part of a privatization plan agreed under the EU/IMF bailout.

In a sign of the potential sensitivity of the move to cancel the privatizations, Tsipras met China’s ambassador to Athens, Zou Xiaoli on Tuesday to stress the importance of good relations with Beijing.

As well as announcing a halt to selling state assets, ministers have promised to reinstate laid-off public sector workers whose dismissal was ruled unconstitutional and restore cuts to pensions.

“What we have said during the election campaign will be our guide, starting with measures that do not have large spending impact,” Deputy Social Security Minister Dimitris Stratoulis told Antenna TV. It is time out for pagan infiltrations. The Fat Tuesday is also called Shrove Tuesday-Pancake Tuesday which comes shrive from old word meaning, confess because the day after Mardi Gras  is Ash Wednesday. On the morning of Ash Wednesday,  repented individuals  of various religions (Catholics,Anglicans  etc others..) return to a church of choice to receive a ash cross on their foreheads for their sins to be forgiven for all the things they had committed  at Mardi Gras.

They are usually expected to walk around with ashes on their forehead all day long at work, school etc. Ash Wednesday is the first day of lent and followed up with about six weeks of fasting.  Mardi Gras is celebrated in  New Orleans, at least 15 other American states and various countries around the world, in different forms and different times of the year.

A strange pastor’s bedroom message viral

This news of pastor named Olubenga Oladejo of the Complete Church in Christ is telling members in graphic details about sexual activities forbidden by God. He was particularly talking about the position of man and woman. The Nigerian missionary goes in detail about a vision he saw of people being tormented in hell because of their sexual behavior. He assures man on top is the only position ordained according what is being titled on several articles, after writing this article I found that the viralness of many stories about this new story were quite graphic than expected, and I decided to go no further into many of the other articles, before I was prompted that this pastor was definetely sick.

I can say with viral bedroom seminars and programs of Ed Young, Medina Pullings, Juanita Bynum etc, it may have been headed their, but it does send the wrong signal. For this pastor to just go into those graphic details, I think most people know when their behavior is erotic, and also sermons of bringing beds on the altar  is unecessary, as well as defiled and utterly having no reverance for the sacred house of God.There are people who are single as well as people who are married often times in the audience, and some are lost and dying and searching for an answer, and the bedroom seminars is not the answer.  In Bishop Orrin Pullings and Pastor Medina Pulling’s bedroom video, it was entertainment as the audience laughing at him mocking the tongues,  and  he says  do not want any of that in his bedroom, and he goes on to say secular music is necessary to be played to get into the mood. Have a seat! It sends the wrong message and it is not right. It does not represent God. Those seminars as such,  do not help much of anything. Amen, we got here through a man and a woman and that is called being fruiful and multiplying, or when a man cleave to his wife and becomes of one flesh and in the union produce children. This man Pastor Obenga would stay on that topic for increased graphics, non pg message, and or enticeability reasons to draw a crowd.   As a way round to sum things up is yes we were born in sin, but Christ was not born of sin.  He was born of a virgin and conceived of the Holy Ghost according to scripture in Matthew 1:20 KJV. Ye can be born again. Pastor Obenga is not wrapped to tight in the mind and needs to people born again of the spirit.

Number one, what he saying  is not right, and secondly it sends people the wrong direction. What they should know marriage is that it is being so between male and female and The Lord is able to teach those who are married and whosoever will impart wisdom to couples, will hopefully do so bibically in a godly manner not a graphics. It would do more harm than good to  attend these sexplicit seminars. God is holy, and he does not want his church tainted with that discord.  The Bible talks well about our relationship with God as good example, and it relates love not lust. The book of Philippians in 4th chapter in KJV talks about thinking on things that are pure.  The Bible also talks about how the church is the bride of Christ. It is imperative especially for believers to have understanding what the Bible says, both married and single people, who are in communion with Christ. The bridegroom is coming Matthew 25:6 KJV Behold,  the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Jesus, he wants us to be ready with our lives.  The Bible says in Ephesians 5:25KJV Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church.  I believe a few verses above that states in the 22nd verse that he says, Wives submit to yourselves unto your own husband.  For the husband is the head of the wife in the 23rd verse. 1 Peter 3 gives some further description and reference on it. Amen! Praise the Lord.  It is good for the man to have direction from the Lord, because granted when he is saved and the Holy Spirit is leading his life; he has direction. The wife is able to help him, and vice versa the husband is able to the wife. That is what is probably to be said about marriage not all that other stuff that pastor is stating about sex graphic eduation class.

As for an important subject of equally yoked, it is not only pertained to people of whom you associate with and encounter, but it also pertained is to those who are married.  Our whole life should belong to him.  God does not  desire us to be unequally yoked according to 2 Corinthians 6:14KJV, and even if they may be a case of a woman who is  truly santified unto God and already unfortunately married to an unbeliever, she can understand that a sanctified wife sanctify her husband according to 1 Corinthians 7:14KJV.

There is a lot sin, wickedness, and violence filling the earth, but I know God is able to sanctify HIS church in all areas. Do the church really need ministers to stand up and give a graphic detail about men and woman bedroom positions and telling they are going to hell because woman on top or all the other nonsense proposed?  I have yet to read that in the Bible. Does the Lord need a minister talking all that other stuff in that way?  There is an actual video of Pastor Obenga and I did not listen the youtube video, and did not get to read the articles all the way when this came up as new because  it was just perversion on that pastor.  Does somebody walk in church to hear bedroom positions? It is just no telling what you would here in (some) churches these days. I know there is  a wicked imagination,  and we are not obliviated to knowing what is going on. It is a lot filth. They know better. Romans 12:2KJV Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. I think sane people know when something is just erotic in the bedroom. I think you should know mouth is for drinking, eating food, breathing and talking.  Nothing else such as the obscenity of things we might hear of today.  I think church should know that when they hearing something, when they his voice are able to discern. I agree marriage is only between a man and a woman who are committed to God first hopefully and prayerfully, and then they will most certainly be able commit to one another. Marriage is honourable and the bed undefiled and that was stated in Hebrews 13:4 KJV.   A man who is  following Christ Lord Jesus Christ and leading his wife, then he likely has the ability to set things in order being the head of the house if he is truly under the leadership of The True and Living God. There you have it, and all this other stuff is just really wild. This pastor needs to take a seat and get out the bedroom. I believe it is a clearly publicity stunt.

The heretic former pastor Rob Bell was on the Oprah’s Superbowl Sunday episode features. Bell is the host of his very own Rob Bell show on The OWN Network. Rob Bell states that a church who does not embrace same sex couples will continue to be irrelevant.  He goes on to state the following quotes.

Author Michael Brown accused Bell of trashing the Bible as an outdated text. “The bad news is that many professing Christians are capitulating to culture and abandoning the holy and wholesome ways of the Lord”.

Rob Bell is the former pastor and founder of a mega church Mars Hill in west Michigan, and he made headlines few years ago when he stated he did not believe in hell. Mars Hill? That is why it named that because they are far off representing and the philosophers  at Athens and Acts 17 gives the regards.

Pope says speaks against those who fearfully cling to religious laws

VATICAN CITY (RNS) In a powerful sermon that signaled his desire to push ahead with historic reforms, Pope Francis on Sunday (Feb. 15) said the Roman Catholic Church must be open and welcoming, whatever the costs.

He also warned the hierarchy not to be “a closed caste” but to lead in reaching out to all who are rejected by society and the church.

“There are two ways of thinking and of having faith: we can fear to lose the saved and we can want to save the lost,” Francis told hundreds of cardinals and bishops arrayed before him in St. Peter’s Basilica at a Mass centered on the story of Jesus healing a leper rather than rejecting him.

“Even today it can happen that we stand at the crossroads of these two ways of thinking,” the pope said as he outlined the current debate in the church between those seen as doctrinal legalists and those, like Francis, who want a more pastoral approach.

“Jesus responds immediately to the leper’s plea, without waiting to study the situation and all its possible consequences,” Francis declared. “For Jesus, what matters above all is reaching out to save those far off, healing the wounds of the sick, restoring everyone to God’s family. And this is scandalous to some people!”

“Jesus is not afraid of this kind of scandal,” the pontiff continued. “He does not think of the close-minded who are scandalized even by a work of healing, scandalized before any kind of openness, by any action outside of their mental and spiritual boxes, by any caress or sign of tenderness which does not fit into their usual thinking and their ritual purity.”

Since his election almost two years ago, Francis has pushed the church to focus less on denouncing the sins of others — especially on issues of sexual morality — and to instead to reach out more to the poor and social outcasts.

He also wants the church, especially the leadership, to reform itself, and he has convened a series of high-level summits at the Vatican to discuss overhauling the Vatican bureaucracy and changing church practices to, for example, enable divorced and remarried Catholics to receive Communion.

But there was a sense at meetings in the Vatican over the past week that the momentum for change may be slowing — in part due to resistance from doctrinal conservatives and the Vatican’s old guard — and could use a jump-start.

Francis seemed to provide such a jolt on Sunday in remarks that were “truly foundational,” in the words of the Reve. Antono Spardo, an Italian Jesuit who is close to the pope.

The Rev. Thomas Rosica, a Canadian priest who works with the Vatican communications office,  tweeted that “more than anything I’ve heard from (the pope) today’s homily is his mission statement.”

Throughout his 15-minute homily, Francis repeatedly slammed the “narrow and prejudiced mentality” of believers who cling to religious laws out of fear. They wind up rejecting the very people they should be ministering to, he said, which means anyone on the margins of society “who encounters discrimination.”

“Total openness to serving others is our hallmark, it alone is our title of honor!” Francis said at the Mass to mark his appointment of 20 new cardinals on Saturday.

“We will not find the Lord unless we truly accept the marginalized!” he concluded. “Truly the Gospel of the marginalized is where our credibility is at stake, where it is found, and where it is revealed.”

The new cardinals had joined Francis and more than 150 other members of the College of Cardinals for talks over the past week on restructuring the dysfunctional papal bureaucracy known as the Roman Curia.

But the background noise to those meetings, and in other, smaller meetings among the pope’s top advisers, was the ongoing and increasingly pointed arguments between those who want to slow or halt Francis’ drive for change and those who think the 78-year-old pontiff needs to act more decisively, and soon.

Francis himself seemed to acknowledge the opposition, citing New Testament passages in which St. Peter (considered by Catholic tradition to be the first pope – was rebuked by other early church leaders for entering the house of a pagan, and when St. Paul faced criticism for not requiring Christian converts to observe all aspects of Jewish law.

“Charity is creative in finding the right words to speak to all those considered incurable and hence untouchable,” Francis said. “Contact is the true language of communication.”

Francis said this mission applied to anyone in today’s world who is pushed aside “for whatever reason.”

But he also listed specific examples, saying the cardinals should see “the crucified Lord” in the hungry and the unemployed, those who are in prison and “even in those who have lost their faith, or declared themselves to be atheists, or turned away from the practice of the faith.”
