BOYLE COUNTY, KY (WAVE) –  A judge ruled the pastor accused of shooting and killing three people inside a Kentucky pawn shop is competent to stand trial.

Pastor Kenneth Allen Keith is charged with three counts of murder and one count of robbery in connection to the shooting deaths of Mike and Angela Hockensmith and their client, Daniel Smith inside of the Hockensmith’s store ABC Gold, Games and More in Danville on Sept. 20, 2013.

In a recent interview Keith said he was competent to stand trial and that he was innocent.

Monday a Boyle County judge agreed he was competent.

Keith is scheduled to appear back in court on Sept. 1, 2015.
