Then it hit me… I had such an angst come over me. Seeing these Muslims sitting on their rugs ready to bow to a god, causing such an abomination in the house of the Lord,” she said. That was when Weick spoke up and was subsequently ejected, according Rawstory ‘s reports.

A 50-year-old Michigan woman identified as Christine Weick allegedly drove to the National Cathedral in Washington last Friday and proclaimed that Jesus Christ is the only way, in the midst of hundreds of  Muslims who were there at an Islamic prayer ceremony.  This was at the supposedly first muslim prayer service ever held at there. (Though it is considered a Christian church, I believe it is instead  Catholic St. Peter and St Paul National Cathedral that is where they were).

Anyhow what she stated stands true (about Jesus)!, but going inside the building wherein you do not really have access to be in yourself and nearly telling them to get out would  be considered a little over the top, imposing or  outrageous by most and that may be understandable,  some today would  label it bullying,  while others would say she has quite a zeal or boldness that surely would have been  too much out of the comfort zone for many people today including professing Christians.

After Christine Weick entered the cathedral she braced herself to say “Jesus Christ died on that cross. He is the reason we are to worship only Him. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior,” she declared, “We have built …allowed you your mosques in this country. Why don’t you worship in your mosques and leave our churches alone? We are a country founded on Christian principles.”

While it may have been unknown whether Christine expected something severe to happen to her that day acknowledging the very fact  that some religions literally train members to kill for statements against their beliefs, but Christine Weick rather expected that to to be arrested for her statements, but she was instead politely escorted off the premises. Christine recounts being escorted as “They never said a word to me. Two guys came up and got me.  I remember one large man in a suit taking me by arms very strongly, but he didn’t hurt me.” The 50 year old woman claims she was able to manage getting pass heavy security at the cathedral,  and although she brought her  id, it was not checked.

Christine is expected to be interviewed on someones blogtalkradio to further give her side of the story. This is not the first time she has been in the media. According to the inquistir earlier this year Christine Weick  held up a sign on Mother’s Day which stated “Thank your mother for not being gay” to demonstrate anti gay stance.

Her sign prompted a man to hold a sign which stated” Thank your mother your not a bigot, judge not.” There during the signing holding protest another situation errupted  between Christine and  another woman  Jessica Prince who threw a slushie at Christine Weick. That is when Christine attempted to defended herself by holding up a pepper spray at Prince stating slushie throwing is illegal and that she would spray if she felt attacked.

Christine told Wood News, “Truth is hate to those that hate the truth. They don’t like it and they label me a hater, and it isn’t that at all. I love them enough to tell them they are on the wrong path.”

Another protester Zach Hoag challenged Christine by standing with a sign saying “But two moms can be fabulous.”

Another man held a sign that simply said “(expletive) her.”

Christine Weick later wrote on her Facebook page “Yes… this was my Mother’s day. The day was full of surprises too. I did not expect the media to get involved, let alone tape the attack! The young man standing next to me that was holding the (expletive) her sign actually apologized and changed the sign after a number of people scolded him. Please pray for Zack as I was able to share the Gospel with him.”

Last year she was “frustrated” by the lack of support against same-sex marriage.

“There’s a hell for people who don’t repent,” Weick said, saying that same-sex marriage is the “core degredation of our society.”
