According to the Associated Press grandson Brandon Crouch reports that his grandfather Paul Crouch Sr., the 79 year old founder of Trinity Broadcasting Network has died reportedly after a decade long battle with  degenerative heart disease.  Crouch had a pacemaker that recently failed him in October while visiting the network’s facility in Colleyville, Texas. He was transferred to California for continued treatments up until his passing. According to TBN,  memorial services for Crouch are private according his wishes.

Although we are not supporters of the TBN broadcasting because of the inclusion on the network.  Regardless to any mishap within the show itself, Paul had a soul.  This is a tough time Crouch family, and we do pray for his remaining Crouch family who are still alive that they would turn to Christ. In this time material possessions/wills should not be of importance.

Some history/media note regarding the TBN

The Missouri native founded the Trinity Broadcasting Network along with wife Jan Crouch in 1973. They pioneered along with PTL’s  Jim and Tammy Baker and others in the growing field of televangelism. According to the associated press TBN says it now owns  84 satellite channels and more than 18,000 television and cable affiliates as well as a Christian amusement park in Orlando and a replica of  Israel’s Holy Land.

There are many people who say things and place bad things on themselves.

Matthew 12:37KJV

Proverbs 18:21KJV Death and life are in the power of the tongue:

Many years ago actor Red Foxx often portrayed a role which said “Elizabeth I’m coming to join you” as he would fake heart attacks until when the real thing came people thought he was kidding in a real heart attack as he grabbed a chair and fell to the floor to his death.
