An Arkansas man is accused of using his prosthetic arm and a rock to beat another man to death.

Hot Springs police say 52-year-old Ray Allen Brown is charged with second-degree murder in the Tuesday night killing of 52-year-old Robert Brindley.

An arrest affidavit says Brown called police at 9:45 p.m. and said he was being threatened by another man.

But police arrived to find Brindley lying in the road in a pool of blood, fighting for his life.

He was later taken to hospital where he died.

‘Once our officer got there, he observed a subject standing in the middle of the road,’ Corporal McCrary Means told KATV.

‘He asked that subject what was going on. He told them he had been threatened and he had actually gotten into an argument with our victim.’

Brown was allegedly relatively cooperative about the attack.

The affidavit says Brown told police he hit the man in the back of the head with his prosthetic arm, which sent him to the ground.
