People are running after materialistic things, getting hurt, and trampled over.  It is nonsense. It’s the classic case of running after the wrong thing which happens to be the overpriced $180 sneakers. Imagine  if Christians would run after Jesus Christ like these people are running after the sneakers (with the got to have mentality) that would really be a great joy. The sneaker line could have possibly been a good place to witness because the people in it are being deceived, and it is apparent they are captivated over a pair of Jordan sneakers. The world’s focus is off centered. It’s hard to make sense of nonsense.  There was once a time when people had 1 pair  of sneakers a year,  but that is far from today wherein there is so much wastefulness, and beyond excessivenss.  Many of these people do not have a care in the world except  sneakers which are often purchased to impress other people.   Children crying over shoes, folks licking shoes, bragging about money, camping out in mall parking lots all night,  extra measures of security required for the release of jordan shoes, very sad. Pray! Mark 4:19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful
