Starbucks the coffee shop which started by 3 college roomates, Jerry, Gordan and Zen, the company later sold to Howard Schultz. Although there are no disclose ideas them being involved sexually, but we will exame the symbol. In 1971 Starbucks started with a brown more revealing mermaid inside of circle, then several years later changed its siren to green. As well you will notice it switches to subitilize the appearances while yet, subliminally and strongly drawing  in more customers over the years. The logo changed from the color brown to green. In the 2011 version of the logo the name is not included at all, and the lower portion is excluded, but the two fins of the mermaid are raised to the top of each side of the head, left and right.Starbucks logo is the mermaid. It is a greek mythological symbol of typically a half human/half fish. The idea associated with the mermaid is that it seduce mariners through singing. The singing is referred to as siren/alarm. As for today, the idea could even correlate to police sirens which gets the attention of everyone who hears it.  As for the mermaids, the sirens were to used to distract the mariners enough to get their attention, and promise them of sensual things, later only to shipwreck their lives. Strangely enough, the mermaid used for Starbucks logo is a melusine which  is Two-tailed. This idea is correlated with heraldic(army commander) calling for attention of the people, the heraldic is dressed in the coat of arms and protects and disguises the identity of the wearer. The idea was sealed, but the bible makes reference to everything that is hidden will be  revealed.

SEATTLE, Wash. — A Christian pastor is urging a nationwide boycott of Starbucks for the company’s support of same-sex marriage in Washington. In an online message published a day before Washington’s Senate passed a bill legalizing gay marriage, Pastor Steven Andrew of USA Christian Ministries predicted that the Seattle-based coffee giant could lose 80%of its customers if Christians get their coffee elsewhere. Starbucks is one of more than 100 companies that pledged support for legalizing gay marriage in Washington. Washington’s state House is expected to pass the legislation next week, and Governor Chris Gregoire promises to sign it. Opponents say they will put the measure before voters in a referendum this fall.
